MS36 – GI Joe: The Movie

The finale of the original GI Joe cartoon is infamous for several reasons, but damn if the opening sequence isn’t awesome.

GI Joe: The Movie starts strong, and then just kinda happens at you. Poor Cobra Commander…

E92 – GI Joe: A Real American Hero Grab Bag

Good thing GI Joe is around, or who would protect us from Cobra the enemy?

Joes fight Cobra, Cobra retreats, etc. Meanwhile, Michael takes issue with Serpentor, Peter chuckles at some animation errors, and both hosts theorize on why this show made it to Toonami’s Midnight Run lineup.

Also included: Cobra Studios productions, the mixed-up origins of GI Joe, how the hell can anyone tell all the Joes apart?

G Gundam Part 1 will release on June 5th

MS35 – Speed Racer

He’s a demon and he’s gonna be chasing after someone!

Our hosts revisit their first experience with Anime, and find it to be quite the ride. Go Speed Racer!

E91 – Sailor Moon S Conclusion

Where did this baby come from, and what are we gonna do with it?

Sailor Moon faces her toughest foe yet, while Uranus trash-talks her. Meanwhile, Michael wonders why they bothered to have 5 witches, Peter makes and then immediately walks back a ridiculous claim, and both hosts would prefer if Hotaru wasn’t randomly made into a baby.

Also included: the Family Friendly meal delivery service, baby Tomoe, nanomachines.

GI Joe Grab Bag will release on May 22nd

MS34 – Corrector Yui

2020 is looking bright, at least in Yui’s world…

In the far-off future, a technologically inept girl is empowered to enter the internet (sorry, Comnet) in order to fight viruses.
