E102 – The New Batman Adventures Conclusion



Several kids discuss the many faces of Batman, and in a way they’re all correct.

We take a final trip down the dark streets of Gotham City. Meanwhile, Michael attempts to explain his appreciation for the episode “Legends of the Dark Knight”, Peter expresses his distaste for a perhaps too appropriately named villain, and both hosts discuss the darker side of Batman.

Also included: the secret owner of Chuck E. Cheese, the disposability of plant monsters, and the heights of genetic engineering.

E101 – The New Batman Adventures Part 1



Batman’s back again, with a slightly new design and a bit more angst.

Batman occasionally joins forces with his former partner Nightwing as the ever-growing Bat-Family fights for the streets of Gotham. Meanwhile, Michael celebrates a stupid victory, Peter finds a Mr. Freeze episode he doesn’t like, and both hosts agree that Scarecrow’s new design is awesome.

Also included: Mullet appreciation, hairstyle pet peeves, anticipation for the real DCAU crossovers to begin

E99 – Batman TAS Conclusion



It’s Gotham. A guy comes in with a costume and a gimmick, you give them your money.

Batgirl makes her return in an episode where Batman barely shows up at all. Meanwhile, Michael appreciates the treatment of Harley Quinn in a breakout episode, Peter nearly has a heart attack at the mention of a hated cartoon character, and both hosts reflect on this series as a whole.

Also included: Joker’s attempt at reformation, the chilling parallels between Jaleel White and Mary Louise Dahl, expanding the Batman universe with the inclusion of Jonah Hex.

E98 – Batman TAS Part 6



Crime continues running rampant in Gotham City, and only one man can stop it. Well, one man and maybe his ward.

Batman and Robin swing around the city, fighting crime and also occasionally the Joker. Meanwhile, Michael recognizes a distinctly normal shot from the show, Peter makes comparisons between the show and Tim Burton’s Batman films, and both hosts reveal their ignorance of comics.

Also included: Bane’s contract, Robocop 2 (maybe), the unfortunate fate of those who betray Rupert Thorne.

E55 – Batman The Animated Series Conclusion



Batman’s… a ROBOT!?

Ro-Batman discovers his true identity as we finish the first broadcast season of Batman The Animated Series. Meanwhile, Michael surprises himself by liking a potentially terrible episode, Peter plugs Heart of Ice, and both hosts discuss Harley Quinn.

Batman fights a werewolf. No, it isn’t a direct-to-DVD bootleg, this actually happens.

While Penguin enjoys some opera, Michael talks up some weird visuals in a Riddler episode, Peter is tired of Man-Bat, and both hosts discuss the dark end of Clayface.

Meanwhile, Michael takes a moment to discuss the sympathetic nature of villains in this show, Peter confesses that he would wear the Batman & Robin Mr. Freeze costume, and both hosts highlight some unorthodox episodes.
