E138 – Ɐ Gundam Part 3



Let this be a lesson not to get absolutely wasted in outer space.

The Willgame reaches space, and Loran stores something much more dangerous than a cow in the Gundam’s chest. Meanwhile, Michael tries to explain the charm of the show’s characters, Peter appreciates the Adeskan arc, and both hosts discuss an episode featuring a midnight sunrise.

Also included: the antics of people with an early 20th century understanding of the world… in space!

E125 – Yu Yu Hakusho Part 3



Hey Yusuke, those brothers you fought against and just barely beat? They’re still alive, and they weren’t even really trying.

Yusuke and his fellow delinquents unwillingly enter a tournament full of demons. Meanwhile, Michael can’t stop talking about Transformers, Peter appreciates the delinquent charm, and both hosts praise the cheesy ’90s charm.

Also included: format changes, numerous comparisons to Dragon Ball Z, a startling revelation about the transforming Toguro, who is that masked fighter?

E123 – Transformers Armada Part 3



Surprisingly few outright errors this time around.

Twists and turns abound this season, and some of them even lead to character development! Meanwhile, Michael encounters one of his least favorite tropes, Peter is surprised to find that he actually kind of likes this season, and both hosts discuss things that came up in previous seasons and never again, despite seeming important.

Also included: somehow even MORE betrayals, a possible reference to the Battle of Endor, pining for Beast Wars

E117 – Batman Beyond Part 3



Did Batman really kill Mad Stan? Hopefully not, because Mad Stan rips.

Terry catches a break from dealing with High School problems… mostly. Now it’s just mutant dogs, vengeful assassins, and a rogue government robot. Meanwhile, Michael recalls another childhood moment of trauma caused by DC, Peter suggests Nelson may have replaced Batman as the ultimate prey, and both hosts conclude that season 2 may have been a little too long.

Also included: False Face’s taser proficiency, The 101 Misdeeds of Nelson, Charlie Brown gets knee-chainsaws

E106 – Zoids: Chaotic Century Part 3



Raven and Van’s final fight is basically the only fight worth watching in this show.

Prozen’s plans reach their completion as he unleashes the awesome power of the Deathsaurer. Meanwhile, Michael appreciates our heroes being chased by caterpillars, Peter admits a fondness for Irvine’s voice actor, and both hosts question why Prozen’s big reveal to Van needed to happen.

Also included: Zoid-style transportation, Michael complains about Game of Thrones, Prozen’s conspirators and their bad haircuts.

Star Blazers Grab Bag will release December 18th.


E95 – G Gundam Part 3



The Gundam Fight really heats up with Domon’s new Burning Gundam.

The final rounds of the Gundam Fight begin, and Dark Gundam fades into the background. Meanwhile, Michael is bothered by a rehashed plotline, Peter questions the rules of the Gundam Fight, and both hosts find themselves really enjoying the presence of Allenby Beardsley.

Also included: Peter’s dress tips, the return of the Black Tri-Stars, Go For It! Domon W leads Michael astray.

G Gundam Conclusion will release July 17th


E90 – Sailor Moon S Part 3



Rini makes a new friend. Surely she can’t be connected to the evil little girl Tomoe’s been talking to…

Tomoe’s civilian form is revealed. Meanwhile, Michael finds himself surprisingly engrossed in this block, Peter breathes a sigh of relief as identities are no longer shrouded in mystery, and both hosts find Hotaru to be a welcome addition to the cast.

Also included: Mimet or Eudial: who had it worse, Mimet’s hunk addiction, the sibilant sounds Sailor Moon seems set on shoving, uh… into our faces.

Sailor Moon S Conclusion will release on May 8th


E80 – Samurai Jack Part 3



We learn the origins of the ancient evil known as Aku, and Jack befriends an annoying creature.

Meanwhile, Michael talks up a few horror-themed episodes, Peter appreciates Aku’s morphing ability, and both hosts contend with the minor frustration of talking about a show that is so consistently good.

Also included: improvements to Legend of the Hidden Temple, Why Samurai Jack is Better Than DBZ: Redux, missing titles

Samurai Jack Part 4 will release on December 19th


E72 – Mobile Suit Gundam Part 3



White Base kicks things into overdrive, managing to carve through three arcs in one go!

Char Aznable returns, and the Black Tri-Stars get their fifteen minutes of fame.  Meanwhile, Michael isn’t sold on the G-Armor designs, Peter reveals his favorite aquatic Zeon mobile suit, and both hosts put the Zock design on blast.

Also included: Zeonic Popeyes, Bigro advertisement, the death of seemingly every side character

Mobile Suit Gundam Conclusion will release on August 29th


E66 – Beast Wars Part 3



When Optimus is away, the Preds will play.

Season 2 of Beast Wars starts off crazy and continues ramping up from there. Meanwhile, Michael apologizes for mispronouncing a series title, Peter appreciates a new characters dual-wielded weapons, and both hosts are at a loss to determine where the show is going from here.

Also included: media that made us cry, an all Scott McNeil buddy cop movie, robot flirting.

Beast Wars Part 4, covering the third and final season, will release on June 6.
