E75 – Yu Yu Hakusho Part 1

Sometimes the one good deed you do in your life gets you killed.

For Yusuke Urameshi, death is just the beginning of a fantastical journey that will eventually return him to earth with cool powers. Meanwhile, Michael takes issue with some problematic jokes, Peter appreciates the impact of the violence, and both hosts agree that Kuwabara is the best character.

Also included: a new product that takes all the guesswork out of soul-stealing, an over-involved demon backstory, the world Kuwabara lives in.

Yu Yu Hakusho Part 2 will release on October 10th

E70 – Mobile Suit Gundam Part 1

Only Gundam can save us!

White Base, a ship full of orphans and refugees, begins its journey to Federation headquarters at Jaburo, fighting off vicious attacks by the Zeon forces. Meanwhile, Michael admits his bias in favor of Gundam, Peter questions how landmarks like the Grand Canyon ended up with slightly different names, and both hosts reveal that they have partly-assembled Gundam model kits on their desks.

Yeah, we’re dorks.

Also included: The Mainframe Effect, maintenance on the Absolution, animals holding advanced technology.

Next week: Minisode 8

Beast Wars Part 2 will release on May 9th

E51 – Batman The Animated Series Part 1

E42 – Tenchi Universe Part 1

Tenchi Universe starts out of the gate with repeated spaceship crashes, and from there… well…

Meanwhile, Peter compares Tenchi Unvierse to reality television, Michael vents his frustration with a glimpse of characterization, and both hosts wish one of the aliens pursuing Tenchi was a weird jellyfish monster.

Next episode: Tenchi Universe episodes 14-26

E37 – Sailor Moon Part 1

Sailor Scouts, assemble! Well, just three of you so far, I guess.

Sailor Moon starts off with lectures and ends with a boring action scene involving grounded airplanes. What’s not to love? Meanwhile, Peter wonders what a computer contest is and how it could be won, Michael bitches about Luna, the Scouts’ cat advisor/wet blanket, and both contemplate the possibility that this show won’t get any more enjoyable.

Also included: the QuestWorld Reversal, racism in kid’s shows, and did we watch Moltar without remembering it?

Next week: The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest episodes 11-20
