This week, Michael and Peter track down the elusive G-Force: Guardians of Space, the overlooked middle child of several attempts to localization Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. Meanwhile, Michael opens the can of worms that is the dub history of Gatchaman, Peter checks out an episode of Gatchaman itself, and both hosts cringe at the antics of 7-Zark-7.

Also included: a roll-call of localization companies, uranium obsession, the dissonance of 70s animation and brutal violence

MS11 – Beast Machines



Nothing says “writing a direct sequel” like being forbidden from watching the original show.

This week, Michael and Peter discuss the totally atonal sequel to Beast Wars.

What have we done?

This week, Michael and Peter watch the entirety of ReBoot: The Guardian Code, the show that killed everyone’s childhood dog.

For the record, the four teens are Austin, Trey, Tamra, and Parker, while their “gamer names” are Vector, D-Frag, Enigma, and Googz (respectively).

When Optimus is away, the Preds will play.

Season 2 of Beast Wars starts off crazy and continues ramping up from there. Meanwhile, Michael apologizes for mispronouncing a series title, Peter appreciates a new characters dual-wielded weapons, and both hosts are at a loss to determine where the show is going from here.

Also included: media that made us cry, an all Scott McNeil buddy cop movie, robot flirting.

Beast Wars Part 4, covering the third and final season, will release on June 6.
